Frames Per Second Magazine: SIGGRAPH 2008: EVOLVE

http://www.fpsmagazine.com/blog/2008/08/few-words-about-siggraph-2008.php

If you are not familiar with the Canadian publication, Frames Per Second magazine, you really should be!
FPS' Editor In Chief, Emru Townsend, has contributed immeasurably to the world of international journalism
and literacy in animation, digital/computer animation, contemporary and historical.  I worked with Emru in
2005 to cover SIGGRAPH because he was a Jury member that year for the screenings and needed someone
to cover the festival.  This year I will be covering the Computer Animation festival (re-vamped) again because
Emru was asked to Chair the festival and re-structure its form entirely.  I can't wait to experience its new format
but will miss Emru's presence at SIGGRAPH enormously! I will report regularly during the festival on the fps blog in preparation for an article in September that is a more global overview.  Here's hoping I will do Emru and fps justice.

I will be referencing my postings on the IIACI blog site, as well, in the hopes of continuing to drive this traffic to http://www.fpsmagazine.com/blog/2008/08/few-words-about-siggraph-2008.php as well.
